Tokens on Jupiter are 100% permissionless on Solana, which means anyone can create a token. Always verify that you are buying the right token by checking the contract address.
Jupiter constantly tries to improve by filtering out the right tokens for you:
- When searching, we rank and display tokens based on activity
- We have a verification system for community-verified/approved tokens and not approved
- When buying tokens, we attempt to filter out fake tokens given to you
We are likely unable to support or compensate for buying the wrong tokens, but please continue to share with us how it happened so we can continue to improve.
